Installation

• Requires a suspension height of 200cm. If suspending above 200cm, please use a rope to lower the height of the pod swing for safety.
• Find a sturdy suspension point that can bear a weight of 50kg or more.
• Suspend from a reinforced ceiling, tree limb, or beam.

To hang your Pod Swing safely, you’ll need a swing hook and rope. We recommend the following accessories, available separately in our store:

Swing Hooks — choose the one that suits your usage:

• Single Point Suspension Swing Hook — Rotating 360° — Our top pick for pod swings. Allows smooth 360° rotation with heavy-duty POM bearings. Supports up to 100kg. Suits round and square beams.
• Swing Hook — Heavy Duty Bolt-On with Brass Bush — A robust bolt-on option for square wood beams. Galvanised steel with brass bush. Supports up to 300kg.

Rope:

• Adjustable Swing Rope — Available in Polyhemp or Polypropylene. Adjustable length to suit your beam height.

For any bolts, drill bits, or fixings required for installation, please visit your local hardware store. We recommend consulting a qualified builder or contractor to confirm your ceiling or beam is structurally suitable before installation.

How to Care for Your Pod Swing

• Machine-wash on delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C
• Line dry only — do not tumble dry
• Provide adequate space to swing freely without rubbing on the ground or surfaces
• Bring inside at night to protect from dampness. If the swing becomes damp, allow adequate air circulation to dry thoroughly.
• Before storing, clean and dry thoroughly and store in a plastic bag to protect from vermin.
